The Cohanzick Zoo is the only remaining municipality-ran zoo in New Jersey, and while that can have its benefits, it can also have its downfalls, and often, that can be a lack of funding and proper resources.

We are proud to offer free admission to our guests every day, but this means we need public support in order to maintain the legacy we have built as being a free, educational resource for our community. Below we have listed multiple ways you can help, and the items we need to help maintain our Zoo and to take care of the animals who currently reside with us.

Memorial & Sponsorship Benches

Create a lasting legacy by sponsoring a bench with a personalized plaque, which will be placed within the Zoo for all to enjoy throughout the years. Zoo Memberships

Over three generations of families have enjoyed visiting the Cohanzick Zoo. One way we ask the community to help us continue supporting the Zoo is by becoming a member. Your annual membership dues go towards animal enrichment, habitat improvements, and veterinary care. The Cohanzick Zoo Society is also working on new perks for members, coming soon!
