Visit The Zoo

Hours of Operation

Zoo is Now Open

The zoo is now open every day 10am until 3pm. The following COVID-19 SAFETY GUIDELINES are in place:

  • Masks are REQUIRED for ages 2 and up. Please do your part to protect our small staff and our animals (our primates and cats are especially vulnerable to the virus). Wear your mask during your entire visit. If you feel out of breath or overheated, kindly walk out to the parking lot for a break.
  • Restrooms will not be open at this time.
  • Please keep a social distance of at least 6 feet from other guests.
  • Zoo foot traffic will be ONE WAY. Please don’t double back. Follow the signs & arrows.
  • At this time, high contact areas are CLOSED. Please respect the barriers.

Thank you for doing your part! We look forward to seeing you back at the zoo!

We are closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Occasionally, we may close during inclement weather. Please check our Facebook page for weather closures.

ZOO PARTIES

porcupine

Pack a lunch or find a local restaurant/deli!

Currently, there are no food concessions available in the zoo, but we do have a lovely picnic grove overlooking the scenic raceway that runs through the park. If you’re stopping down on the fly and forgot your lunch, no worries! Check out Trip Advisor (click here) for the best restaurants and delis in the area.

Admission is FREE

We are a free zoo, but we absolutely, positively would not exist if not for the generosity of visitors like you and the work of our non-profit funding arm, the Cohanzick Zoological Society. Every single penny donated to the Cohanzick Zoological Society purchases medications, veterinary care & equipment, specialty feeds, and enrichment items for the animals and provides funding for ALL of our renovations and new habitats. Most recently, the society provided the funding to construct a new habitat for our wallabies! Your donation makes a difference! Please consider donating today! (Click here to make a donation!)
